Concerned that termiticides are safe for the family? We offer no chemical termite treatments.
Until recently, the almost exclusively used method of termite management was the application of a chemical termite barrier.
The application of such a barrier to your home would typically involve spraying large volumes of toxic and environmentally persistent chemicals around and under its foundation in close proximity to you and your family.
Today, modern alternatives are not only safe for us and the environment, they focus on completely eradicating the problem with no chemical termite treatments.
Just Termites maintains a strong commitment to:
- protect and eradicate termites naturally
- customer health
- environmental care
Some of the products we use
Termidor and Premise Termidor and Premise are safer effective alternatives to outdated solvent based termite control pesticides. Instead, both are water based, have virtually no smell and of ultra-low hazard to humans, dogs, cats and other mammals.
Termidor and Premise do NOT have an obnoxious odour or emit airborne residues or fumes. Both are registered as a low hazard insecticide with a CAUTION notation on the registered label.
Termidor and Premise represent modern technology... they are NOT organo-chlorine or organo-phosphate pesticides.
Homeguard
Utilised for new constructions, Homeguard offers the first, impregnated, service penetration collar that simply slides over the penetration pipe and locks into the slab. HomeGuard collars are available in a variety of sizes and comply with all requirements of Australian Standard AS3660 for completion of Part A pre-construction termite barriers.
HomeGuard Blue is a cost effective perimeter barrier. Using an impregnated blue polypropylene sheet this is installed after the slab has been poured and cured and prior to any framework or brickwork is commencing and complies with all requirements of Australian Standard AS3660 for completion of Part B pre-construction termite barriers.
Integrated
Utilised when building a new home, this is a barrier treatment incorporating the use of Homeguard collars prior to the slab being poured to comply with the Australian Standard AS3660 for completion of Part A pre-construction termite barriers.
A chemical treatment is applied as part of the integrated system once construction work is completed, but prior to laying of any concrete or pavers that will be abutting the slab edge. This complies with all requirements of Australian Standard AS3660 for completion of Part B pre-construction termite barriers.
Exterra The Exterra termite bait is of extremely low toxicity to you, your family, your dog or cat and the environment. In fact, the chemical used is less toxic than common table salt. The bait is placed in tamper-resistant plastic stations to guard against interference by children or pets.

Look for holes or voids in wood, crumbling drywall, window sills or door frames, sagging doors and floors and mud tubes. Swarming winged termites or their discarded wings are also signs of possible infestation.
